gavel3Spivey Valenciano represents clients in select civil litigation matters. These matters include business litigation, employment disputes and defense of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Spivey Valenciano represents clients in state and federal court and before arbitration panels.

Jim has tried cases involving breach of contract, tortious interference, common law fraud, securities fraud, adverse possession, and unfair competition claims. In addition, Jim has handled over twenty evidentiary injunction hearings.  Jim is also a former chair of the Antitrust and Business Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas and a former Director of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.

Soledad has tried employment disputes and breach of contract claims, and she has prepared and successfully argued numerous motions and responses for her clients on case-dispositive legal and evidentiary issues. Soledad is a frequent author of federal case law updates and annual law surveys.
