Our Services

Spivey and Valenciano have defended eminent domain cases across Texas, providing representation for developers, ranchers, business owners, trustees, family partnerships, and executors, among others, in cases involving commercial tracts, national chains, mixed-use developments, improved and unimproved properties, office buildings, restaurants, retail centers, family businesses, century ranches, rural residential tracts, recreational ranches, farms, industrial sites, and oil and gas parcels.

Their representations have included virtually every type of condemnation: road expansions, high voltage electric transmission lines, pipelines, school district takings, public transit condemnations, railroad expansions, water lines, dams and water detention ponds.

In addition to their eminent domain work, Spivey and Valenciano provide representation in PUC Routing Cases and in select commercial and real estate matters involving personal injury, construction defects, trespass, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and governmental immunity.
